A friend of mine asked me if it was possible to have a digital version of my calendars. I thought, why not! With the postal strike on, this is a way that people from away can still enjoy my calendar either on the computer (if you have the program to write on pdf's) or you can print it out for your wall. Not the same quality as the real thing, but the pictures are the same. #thinkingoutsidethebox

Tuning Into Nature
I am so incredibly excited to be introducing this new Calendar Project that just sings to my heart. Tuning into Nature, my Birds of Canada 2025 Calendar will feature 12 months of 12 special encounters I had with birds here in Okotoks and other parts of Alberta and British Columbia.
Each one has a story and I look forward to sharing them with you over the next few months.
The cover was a picture I took in Salmon Arm this past summer. I would head down to the wharf early in the morning to watch the Great Blue Herons. This one had been on his own patiently trying to fish. I captured this picture just after an attempt where he hadn't been successful. He stood their quietly as he waited for his next attempt. These birds have so much patience.
