My Favourite Pictures this far in 2026

It's hard to believe that May has snuck up upon us. This is when my busy season begins.

Not only do I find myself trying to get outside more as spring has sprung and there's so much action, but I also have some travels in my near future, and I have signed up for at least 20 markets until the end of August.

So, I have decided that I am going to take a little break from my blog post. But don't dismay, I still will have my monthly newsletter (sign up on my home page www.rikkineukom.com) and I write a weekly post on my Substack Account which I have been doing since the beginning of January. Click here to subscribe

I invite you to subscribe to my account so that you can receive my weekly posts in your inbox. For those who do not use Social Media or for those who are stepping back a bit from the social media game, like I am trying to do, my Substack account is a pleasant place to visit. There I chat about how I took a picture, what I saw, why I took it, fun words I have discovered that relate to me and just good old story-telling, because as you may know I like to tell. It's funny because at the market last week one woman said to me "You have a story for every single picture it seems. I love that you share that." I loved that compliment because I am sure there are people who would rather I just keep quiet haha.

I have found a really nice community there on Substack of people who see nature the way I do.

But, before I go....

I thought I would share a couple of my favourite pictures here from 2026.

As I had mentioned I will be at several markets this spring/summer. Here's a list if you are interested in finding me. I will have a few more dates to add as I have been accepted into Artist Alley with C-Space in Calgary but these will be added more last minute. Click here to find me.

If you are on Social Media I will be posting a few times a week on Instagram www.instagram.com/rikki_neukom_photography

I have a whole new collection of cards, prints, journals, magnets and bookmarks for the upcoming market season. You can see them online www.rikkineukom.com/shop-1

My goal is to have my 2027 calendar ready by June. Let's see how I do with that!

I invite you to come see me in person. You will know where to find me.

Wishing you a beautiful summer

Thank you for being here
