I was going through some old cards of mine and had forgotten about this simple Northern Flicker picture I had taken a couple of years back. It was when I discovered a positive about winter and no leaves on the trees....you can see the birds! It gave me new inspiration and now I look forward to a little bit of winter to capture our feathered friends who decide to stick around.
