Hi friends
This isn't my official blog post for the month. I am still working on it.
However, this is a little plug for me.
Many times over the last year I have shared my personal special moments in nature through my photography. I hope that some of these photographs that I hold dear to my heart, maybe touch a heart string or two in yours. I love the art of photography. I love being in nature and experiencing those moments that raises my "joy-o-metre" and to freeze that moment in time with a photograph. I then love coming home, loading the pictures on my computer and seeing how I can create them even more in my editing suite so that I can present to you.
Some of those moments I felt were worthy to be printed whether it may be a print, a greeting card, in a journal or even on a magnet.
I first began printing my photography back in 2020 when my family and I created a Recipe Calendar to raise funds for the children's education we supported in Kenya. This fundraiser was a great success and we decided to make another Recipe Calendar as well as Scenic Calendar, as I had just invested in my first mirrorless camera that year.
I also started creating Blank Greeting Cards as well.
My first prints that I sold were in 2023 as I took the plunge and displayed a couple of pictures at the Okotoks Art Gallery for a Christmas Member Show.
In 2024 I used some of my photos and made Journals and in 2025 I created a few magnets.
I have to stop for a moment to thank my printer Jen at Okotoks Print and Copy who has been printing my calendars, cards and journals since 2020. She is wonderful to work with and she has so much patience with me and my particularities.
Over the year I sold my work at the Canmore Farmer's Market from June until the end of September. It was wonderful to share my stories with visitors from all over the world. Sometimes they took home a little piece of me. I think that is pretty cool.
I am now at three markets this Christmas Season, McKenzie Towne this Saturday November 15th from 10am to 3pm

Light Up Okotoks Pop Up Market at Elks Hall
Friday December 21st from 5:30pm to 9pm
and the Christmas Market at the Fieldhouse on December 6th from 9am to 3pm.

All markets are free to attend.
Oh, you can also find some of my items at the Okotoks Art Gallery when their Christmas Market opens on November 21st for Light Up Okotoks.
The rest of my sales will be online or if you contact me directly.
I would really love your support so that I may continue on this path I am currently on bringing more images that may capture your heart or make you smile.
Here's a glimpse of what I am offering.
